Linkwood is a Speyside distillery that began operations in 1825, on the outskirts of Elgin. While it has largely remained out of the spotlight, Linkwood is frequently found in blended Scotch, particularly within the Johnnie Walker range. A second Linkwood Distillery was built on the same site in the 1970s, briefly running alongside the original before the two consolidated operations. Though official releases are limited, Linkwood’s been a favorite among independent bottlers over the years.
