Founded in 1797 in Oldmeldrum, Glen Garioch is one of Scotland’s oldest operating distilleries. Tucked in the eastern Highlands, its long history includes periods of silence, including a closure in the 1960s due to water supply issues. While it primarily supplied blending houses for much of its history, single malt releases have earned a loyal following.
